UNIVERSAL CITY, CALIFORNIA: Now that 'The Voice' Season 23 is coming to an end, fans are eagerly waiting to see who will return as the coach in the show's new season. To clarify, NBC has announced the new lineup of coaches for 'The Voice' Season 24.
While Blake Shelton bids adieu to the show, Reba McEntire will take his place in the new season, although Blake won't be on the new season of the NBC singing show, but his wife has come back to claim her position.

NBC announces 'The Voice' Season 24's coach lineup
As Season 23 ends, all eyes are now on the revamped coaches' chair of 'The Voice' Season 24. NBC announced the new coach lineup in a press release. 'The Voice' Season 24 coaches are Reba McEntire, Niall Horan, Gwen Stefani, and John Legend. The network dropped the names of the new coaches on social media, "Welcome your new fall Coach line-up!" Fan-favorite Legend who has been the coach of the show from Season 16 to 22 will once again make a legendary entry. Legend said he wasnt on Season 23 because, "My family's growing, I have a new album out, I'm 'gonna do a little bit of touring, and so it's probably better that I take a break...But I'll be back on The Voice, just not this coming season." Entertainment Tonight reports.
Kelly Clarkson is absent from the new lineup, which means she may not participate in the new season. The singer is moving to New York City, but 'The Voice' studio is located in Los Angeles, Hollywood Life reports. Therefore, it will not be easy for her to travel back and forth for filming. Besides Kelly, Chance the Rapper was also not announced for the new season.
Reba McEntire takes Blake Shelton's seat
After the Blake Shelton exit, the new face introduced on 'The Voice' is Reba. After her ABC series 'Big Sky' was canceled, she now joins NBC's singing series as a coach. She was brought on stage in Season 23 as a mega mentor. In addition to her role as a mega mentor, the country singer also served as a battle advisor for Team Blake in Season 1. As NBC announced the news of her arrival in the new season on social media, Reba commented, "So excited!" It seems that it's not only Reba who is excited but fans as well. A user commented, "I’m so excited for you for be a coach on The Voice this fall and I will definitely be watching because you are going to be my favorite coach on the show. you @reba." Another wrote, "@reba ahhh I've been waiting for you to be a coach for awhile now!! I'm so excited I can't sit still, I'm like my preschoolers in my class."
Blake Shelton pays tribute to last semi-finals in heartwarming video
'The Voice' Season 23 coach Blake uploaded a video of his last rehearsal on the show on May 15. The star is seen facing the camera saying, "Hey guys, I'm standing here in the rehearsal room. I just finished up my rehearsal for the semi-finals of my last freaking season." Blake then turned towards the live musicians as he thanks all the artists. He then praised his team, "I couldn't be happier with my team, Noivas, and Grace." He then claimed both of them to be his "dream team." The video then shows both the semi-finale singers' last rehearsal moment with Blake. Noivas says the last rehearsal round with Blake was "intimidating, exciting, and everything that I needed it to be." He adds, "There is no coach better than Blake Shelton." The singer further thanked the coach for choosing him.
Grace, on the other hand, praised her coach saying, "The advice and the tips and the kind words have meant the world to me." She then thanked the coach for providing her support so far. The budding singer calls the experience "absolutely amazing." Blake captioned his post, "Can't believe it's my LAST Semi Finals... I couldn't be happier with #TeamBlake!!!"
