Miami Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill could reportedly face charges for an alleged incident involving an employee at a local marina, but for now the investigation may be closed.

Per Miami police, Hill reportedly assaulted a marina employee and boarded a boat without permission, saying "I can buy you and the boat" along with "I'm No. 10 with the Miami Dolphins."

This is all per Andy Slater of FoxSports640, who also reported that the investigation is over at the local level for now.

The Dolphins released a statement as to the allegations against Hill:

"We are aware of the situation and have been in contact with Tyreek, his representatives and the NFL. We will reserve further comment at this time."

It's unclear if this will result in an NFL investigation and potential punishment at this time. For now, the league is leaving the situation in the hands of local law enforcement.

Tyreek Hill boat incident: Everything to know

The local NBC affiliate confirmed via the marina that charges could be filed against Tyreek Hill. Here is NBC 6's description of the incident:

"Police said Sunday that the alleged victim, who works for Kelly Fishing Fleet, was working on a charter boat at the marina in Haulover Park when he noticed two women on a fishing charter without permission.

Police said the alleged victim told them that while he was telling the women to get off, an argument broke out between employees and the group on the boat.

According to the incident report, that is when the victim was slapped on the neck by an unidentified person, who was presumably Hill."

Police were able to restrain Hill and the victim before further violence, but the assault allegation stands. Hill was previously investigated for the battery of his then-3-year-old son, though charges were never filed against him.

We'll have more on this incident as it's made available.
